The water element may be associated with the dark color shades of blue and including black, and also shapes that are smooth, and curvy. Real water is the absolute most powerful cure when you need to have the water element represented somewhere in your yard, or a space in your home.
Some homes have water fountains or fish aquariums located in an area on a semi-permanent basis. Flying Star “Shyung Kung” feng shui there are cycles to be calculated, and the best places for water outside in your yard and should change about every twenty years or so. Inside your own home, the best locations for water should be change every year or so . This doesn’t mean that you need to constantly move your water fountain, or aquarium every year, but occasionally this is a good idea. For example, the North direction happens to be inherently associated with the Water element, “K’an Trigram”. About the year 2002, every-one’s north section of their home or business will have the annual Three-wood energy residing there.
We all have heard the expression, “a lawsuit waiting to happen,” and that is the kind of energy possessed by the annual Three. This energy, which we call the “Three star” which can contribute to bad vibes, arguments, bad roomers, legal conflicts, even burglary, and violence. You should not strengthen it with water, because the North direction is the essential part of the water element, even without a real water feature the nasty Three, will be activated. If you don’t spend a lot of time in the North area of your home or office, then the affect will be a lot less.
How can you control this. In the basics of Five Element Theory, we know that fire reduces wood down to ash. So by, adding red colored objects to the North end of your home, or office would be appropriate for this year. This may not be recommend 100% of the time however, because some people shouldn’t have the fire element in the north part of their house based on the permanent energies. This is one of the biggest differences between a beginners’ knowledge and an experienced experts understanding of the depth and complexity of feng shui. We need to compare and determine which is more beneficial, to cure a negative yearly influence, or to continually protect the permanent energies. That’s similar to doctors prescribing medicines that will have no negative side-affects.
A good general rule, water should be clean for positive energy. Dirty water is worse than none at all, because it has negative energy. Circulating water is more powerful than still water with no movement. It is possible for water to move too fast, and away from your yard in the wrong direction. Just like after it rains the streets are virtual streams flowing. A good question is whether or not it matters what the fountain is made out of, stone, fiberglass, or copper. This realy does not matter much, but sometimes it is ok to have fountains made from different materials, because almost all outdoor fountains are stone, fiberglass,or marble.
Should a fountain be going all day and night? Indoor water fountains should be turned off if you leave for a few days, so the pump will not run out of water. Out door water fountains can be turned off at night, or put on a timer. A good place to put a water fountain, or an aquarium is the Southwest end of your home, or office. By doing this will enhance creative opportunity’s and stimulate love, and romance for anyone!
